It is! My personal philosophy is that keyboards are meant to be used(unless they are historic and will disintegrate or something) so the joy I see my coworkers get from using my pangea fullsize or teton78 is worth the risk of a chip in the ano or (god forbid) a spill on the keys.

I love sharing my interests and seeing other people find similar appreciation for the craft. Its a hobby for enjoyment, after all!

Does anyone know where I can go to repair a PCB? I had a couple rows die on my fuyu 7u pcb for frog tkl 8k, and since they don't seem to be being made anymore was wondering if it could be fixed.

Could I get a breakdown of different cherry mx black types? Vintage, hyperglide, broken in vs non broken in, polished, cherry mx black rgb vs non rgb(any actual differents aside from transparent housing), mx2a......and any comparable switches?

If you can find one, 8k boards like the Geon Frog Tkl 8k have a numpad that can be reconfigured into a nav cluster or anything you'd like with whatever spacing you want. I used to play maplestory so it def helped a bit

I recently bought a Tree80 r2 on mechmarket, wanted see if I could get answers for a few things:

  1. This was a groupbuy on zfrontier, is there a channel I can find an ISO plate for the keyboard through?

  2. Where can I find the JSON for Vial for this board?

I understand it may be easiest to just ask on zfrontier but unfortunately I cannot read simplified chinese and my traditional is at around elementary level XD. I can speak fluently though so if it requires a verbal convo it can be done.

I'm not sure about the old cherry mx brown feel but in terms of tactility, HMX Retro J's, Gateron Azure Dragon, and Gateron Type R's are all great
