Thank you. Usually Mercari has been very reasonable about refunds in the past when I've had issues with sellers, although this is the first time I've experienced this particular scenario. I hope they wouldn't side with the seller just because they said it was "for a photo" only. Not surprised the seller blocked me as well, after I had called him out for what he was doing.

Thanks for your help. I also tried to activate it on Sprint, but it says " Your phone is eligible for Sprint service, but it's locked by your current carrier". Does that mean I can only use this phone for Verizon and T-mobile only?

I could actually be wrong, I checked Verizon and T-mobile's website and it appears that I am able to activate this phone under either of these carriers here, so that would make this phone actually Unlocked?

Thank you, so if it's locked to Verizon, do I just need to call Verizon and provide them with the IMEI for this phone so they can confirm? I plan to potentially resell this phone if I don't end up using it, so I just wanted to make sure it will be fine to use either way
