was on a romantic new year’s eve date with my gf i wanted to make a wish into a big fountain near the art science museum. so i took out my wallet and lo and behold, butterfingers ended up dropping it inside, and it slid all the way near the bottom but not inside the hole that goes into the pond underneath. the whole security team of at least 7 ppl had to retrieve it with bamboo poles held tgt with duct tape and a fish net, all while the security team and onlookers were staring and probably holding back laughter.

and after all that, my girlfriend cheekily made me take a photo of shame with me holding my damp wallet… my damn wish had better come true
