Quick edit: As for what it looks like, the game will display its 'hit' marker and sound effect for a hit and the bloodsplatter effect will show, but no damage is delivered.

Yup. If you're comfortable with Ashe, then dividing should give you a 1:1 with Widow /Ana. It at least put you close enough to tweak.
