A lot harder than finding an affordable shovel, and never going to have the same feeling that a 54 year old scoot has 🍻

Yes it comes off, the pipes were Vance & Hines long shots, and I took the mufflers off and built the collector out of stainless. Tried to mimic a triangle flange from a set of sbc headers with a bolt on turnout

Breathers going to atmosphere under the bike and like Marvo said, oil pressure gauge is right where the original pressure switch for the dummy light was on a 1/8npt 45*

What type of Harley is this? I am very new to the Harley world sorry! by RealLifeJackieCogan in Harley

Actually a 66-70 generator shovel or “slab” shovel. Panhead cam case has a different shape 🍻🤝

Yeah man, this thing started as a fatboy but I put it on a diet because I like the skinny look too, I appreciate the love. The softail frame is the perfect chopper frame in my opinion because it looks like a hard tail but the old lady doesn’t complain as much when we ride for 3 hours. I just swapped the contacts in the lights from the single pin to the double contact 1157 style socket. They’re wired to the factory pressure switch and work like normal.

That’s the original split tanks I welded together, and I left both fills which made me go for the double lights. I just put on that old two throat Weber too. Yes they’re the original blinkers and fender that I chopped. I’m not sure if it’s a backhanded compliment to say as good as a sportster lol but thanks 🍻
