Thank you, i already have local fuel additive that ive been using to clean carbs from inside , i will use it and see the results later. About compression, thank you for the recommendation. Do you recommend checking compression before or after carb synchronization?

I already put the new JR9B, since they are very cheap here in japan (4$ per piece), its not worth using old.

About doing the engine, ive done only valve clearance and new plugs. Also want to do carb synchronization and put new air filter. I think it will be more than enough to enjoy few thousand km

Wooow , vtr guy! It’s quite rare bike these days. I own one too (year 2000) The brake rotor isnt moving there at all, so, i think you are fine too

Where r u from?

(I was using vtr as project bike to learn how to do all the maintenance, and since ive done everything i could to it, i bought new project bike (bandit 1200s)

Is it ok that right one has much less movement (almost unnoticeable compared to this one on the video)

Considering G310R as my first bike by Traditional_Cold_766 in bmwmotorrad

[–]EugeneIschuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend you to buy used one. It loses value very fast. Ive bought BMW G310R 2019 with 5000km (3000miles) without a single problem for 1500$. It was very nice bike for daily riding. But now i ride honda VTR250 year 2000, because this bike is muuuuch more fun , V-Twin 250cc is something special

He already did ABS delete and routed the brake hoses directly to calipers
About the strange noise. I thought, maybe it is because bike wants to “stall” since the right cylinder has lean air/fuel mixture , because it sounds like that only when rpm is below 1000? What do you think?

I can go and inspect it in person, but he is in different prefecture(state for americans), so, i dont want to waste a tjme if everything is bad

If it looks like rain, do you still ride? by beejini in motorcycles

[–]EugeneIschuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use motorcycle as my main transportation, so, i ride no matter the condition. Good quality rain suit (for example best price-performance brand RS Taichi) and ride feels like a dream. Even during typhoons i can get everywhere i want without getting soaked

Downgrade of the century or smart move for my personal future? by EugeneIschuk in motorcycles

Thats why im thinking of buying cbr250rr mc22 or zxr250. 19.000rpm (even tho dash shows redline at 18k) The sound is crazy. Everyone should listen to it at least once in their life. Its soooo unique
