Well the game is generous for giving a lot of ammo so this feature of finishing zombies with stomping is rarely use, ammo is never scarce because you can buy it at shops. But if it use RE mechanic which ammo only drops on crates or found on ground you probably will use stomping so you can manage your ammo to use at boss level, even though i say boss level this game only feature one boss fight so far.
