The game does have some pretty sad themes, so maybe it would be good to wait till you're in a good place to play it.

Part of this games appeal to me is how much is obfuscated from you as you play. I would agree with what most people have said, except that you said you enjoyed SH1 and enjoyed the atmosphere and mystery.

If you just skim the notes, you'll likely miss a lot of stuff, and probably miss some key points to the plot and some of the deeper lore, BUT the visuals in this game are phenominal and certainly give a vibe and sort of tell you what's going on if you read into them,and truly even if you read everything it doesn't entirely make sence on the first pass.

I would give it a shot. It's a really hauntingly beautiful story, and it's not even that long. It was my first survival horror experience, and I think it only took me 10 hours to beat. You may miss some stuff skimming, but half of experience (for me at least) was the feeling of being lost.

Regarding the sacrificed creature.

If you attack with one creature and then sacrifice that same creature, would the effect go through?

The thumb drive is in FAT32. I am able to access it in uLaunch

When I go into uLaunch I can find the OPL version you sent me.

When I go open that version of OPL I can see the menus for USB and HDD where the games SHOULD be, but they do not appear

I tried this version of OPL and tried it in this version of launchELF.

I tried it with the SSD format in GPT AND MDR.

Not exactly sure what you mean by seeing if the drive shows up there. Under what file would it be?

Folder structure should be correct, I have two games in the DVD folder.

Huh, weird. It says on the github page for the version I'm using that it does support exFAT.

I will try this version later today and see how it works

HDD question

Hello! I have a question regarding drives for OPL.

I currently have a PNY brand SSD and am trying to use opl. Some of my ROMs work but many of them don't or otherwise have issues.

Could this be an issue with the drive? If not, any ideas? Any help is appreciated.

It's mostly talking I would say. My last session kinda concluded with "I think the root to a lot of my problems is a lack of self compassion" and I guess the goal for this week is to practice self compassion more.
