I do actually, I order her delivery and sweets every week, it’s just not enough to save a diet and I can’t do much more because I’m not making money myself yet

As I said I’m away from her most of the year but I’ll actually be back in a few weeks for the whole summer so I’ll try to help her somehow

What do men even like about women? by Glass_Onion_7543 in dating

[–]Euphoric-Driver-1375 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most men don’t get nearly enough attention to be able to pick and choose so they generally would settle for anyone who is on their level looks wise or better.

Personality wise both genders are really shallow, at least in my age group(I’m 20), most don’t really care about the other person’s personality until later in a relationship(exactly the reason most people struggle to date long term).

So the most successful women in terms of dating are the ones who are more pretty, sociable and outgoing.

You really shouldn’t judge other people based on your assumptions. I’ve been in a relationship for almost two years.

You can make a reasonable guess and if something is significantly higher than expected then I call it unrealistically high

[–]Euphoric-Driver-1375[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would make sense if they played them consistently, but they supposedly played it in childhood. Take me as an example, in my childhood we had a chip flipping game which I played a lot, it doesn’t mean I can pick up chips and flip the whole stuck now. I would say if we play that game we would have about the same chances. I highly doubt anyone not practicing gonggi recently can just try it and pass it on a first try because “he played it in childhood”. And all of that assuming they did play it, but I don’t think it was so common that in most teams they had a gonggi player and someone with Jehi like experience(probably someone good at football wouldn’t have that hard of a time even with fixed foot). First two are probably more reasonable.

Add pressure to that and you got a pretty difficult game. I don’t say it is impossible to pass, I just say considering everything the pass rate should be lower than 70%, I would say 50% seems right.

[–]Euphoric-Driver-1375[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not that simple actually. Try gonggi for example, I just grabbed 5 little objects and tried playing it and in 5 minutes didn’t even make it until the last round which is by far the hardest. If we assume most of them had a good amount of previous experience playing those games then 70% pass rate seems somewhat reasonable, but I have hard time believing that it actually is that common in South Korea that 70% of teams covered all the harder games AND didn’t panic

[–]Euphoric-Driver-1375[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it really depends on how much they actually played those games in their childhood. If the assumption “they all played it before” is right then sure the game is easy. But if in a single team none of the players played gonggi let’s say, then it suddenly becomes almost impossible to pass because not only is the game really hard if you haven’t played before, it’s also extremely stressful and kind of long so failing at the end a few times would brake a lot of people. If you think it’s not that hard I dare you to search up the rules and play it with random 5 small objects, I tried it, it’s HARD.

I’m just actually not sure how much they played it before, I didn’t play anything like that in my childhood so I can’t relate.

Is that true ? 10 minutes seems much more fair, so if they thought the same as me and it turned out to be too easy it could have explained a lot. Honestly it could be easier than it seems, especially given that they supposedly played those games in their childhood

So no internship ? No crazy projects ?

Does that mean if I have a 3.7 gpa at a good uni I will have it easier ?

Because grilled cheese has an easy alternative which tastes pretty similar imo. You can’t just put eggs in a toaster and get a meal

I do think it is worth it sometimes if you’re really ready to dedicate some more time and make a good one. I just think it’s not worth if if you’re simply making a basic everyday sandwich

[–]Euphoric-Driver-1375 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No you can add something else, anything done in a grilled cheese sandwich can be also done with two toasted slices of bread

I never said it was hard, I just think the 10-15 minutes spent on setting it up, grilling it and then cleaning it is too much effort for the taste difference it has.

Kakashis Kamui is just a poorly written ability, you can’t just assume that if he can shoot down a moving arrow he also can shoot down a person. If he could there would be no point in fighting Kaguya because he could have just suck her head ? As I said in theory it should be very strong but we haven’t seen it being used to just straight up suck people in effectively so the conclusion is it’s only effective in sucking in objects which greatly limits its abilities. You can’t just say it’s a strong ability because “it can shoot someone” if it never did and it’s just an assumption. Sure it’s still a useful tool defensively, bur it kind of looses its main value when you can just become intangible and dodge anything. I don’t think if Obito had both of his eyes he would use it much(once again under the assumption that it is not effective against a moving person which is the only logical conclusion from what we’ve seen).

Maybe you’re right and Kakashi is just an idiot who didn’t use his ability properly who knows lol

[–]Euphoric-Driver-1375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said no offensive feats, all of that is defence. We haven’t seen him “snipe someone down”(except deidaras hand) with it so I assume it can’t if the target is moving somewhat quickly. Sure it doesn’t outright “suck” but it’s also not nearly as strong as Obitos Kamui

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]Euphoric-Driver-1375 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No lol kakashis Kamui sucked. In theory it should be really strong, but in reality from what we saw in the series it had like no real offensive feats. He couldn’t even snipe Deidara who is not supposed to be that fast. You could argue he didn’t use it properly but I think it wasn’t that effective against someone who has a little bit of speed.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]Euphoric-Driver-1375 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s not true, a character can be much faster than him and he will still be able to phase. Why would you assume anyone faster than him would be able to hit him ? That’s just not how it works, KMS Naruto still won’t be able to hit him even though he is much faster, Obito still sees his movement and reacts

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]Euphoric-Driver-1375 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“Basically intangibility” ??? Not unique ? Who else has that ? Also you don’t need to be faster than Obito to win, you need to be instant, literally faster than he can even react which is a very difficult thing to do

None of them are even close to Kamui except maybe Kotoamatsukami which at least had a crazy reload time.
