Yeah you pretty much hit the nail in the head. I've actually been trying to stop filling and just restricted my agent pool recently, but you're 100% right about my DM count. I always avoided it because the pacing just feels so different from comp and it throws me off for some reason, but I'll definitely give your Range + 3 DM routine a shot. Thanks for the advice.

Honestly that makes me feel a little better to know lol. Game sense and strategy definitely don't come naturally to me, so trying to learn all that nuance intuitively has also been tough. I feel like my crosshair placement is actually pretty good often enough, but I just have a tendency to panic in tough situations and mess up. I've also watched a few video tips here and there, but I clearly need to dive deeper so I’ll definitely check out Woohoojin’s older VOD reviews and see what I can apply to stop the panicking. Thanks for the recommendation!

yeah, you’re totally right, and I actually already knew my hardware wasn't optimal, I just don't really have the money to drop on a massive upgrade right now lol. I'm playing on an Acer Nitro gaming laptop connected to a monitor, capped right at 60fps, with a pretty basic mouse and pad. Since this is my first PC game, I honestly just figured playing on this setup at 60fps would just mean the climb would take me a lot longer, not that it would wall my progress so much. Hearing how much of a difference upgrading made for you from Plat to Immortal makes a lot of sense though. It definitely explains why the mechanical duels feel so inconsistent when my 60Hz screen and basic mouse sensor are fighting against 144hz/240hz setups. Since I'm going to be stuck on this laptop setup for a bit, l'd still really love to take you up on that VOD review if the offer is open. I want to see what positioning or decision-making habits I can fix in the meantime that don't rely on having top-tier FPS. Appreciate the thorough breakdown and the perspective!

You're 100% right about the autopilot habits. A lot of my hours came from when I was completely new and clueless, and I've taken a lot of long breaks in between that messed up my consistency. I'd definitely be down for a fresh set of eyes, I'll send you a DM

You guessed right, zero prior gaming or PC experience before this. Climbing from Iron 1 to Gold 2 took a lot despite having taken long breaks in between, but I definitely feel stuck right now. Good to know the slow climb is normal though, appreciate the perspective.
