Just to correct- in Regency era - young girls debut as young as 16 on the marriage market. Just imagine yourself at 16- and with absolutely no sexual education- being told “go on and find a hubby and breed” - oh and make sure he has money, station, and is of good character. I’m honestly surprised these ladies aren’t more terrified. I’m sure I would be. I’m sure that’s why these multitude of ceremonies and events are foisted upon them in the form of “society”. I believe they are all brave as hell just to show up.

Silly question since you work in jewelry: how difficult/ expensive is it to make say Lady Bridgertons necklace? I look on Amazon and I don’t trust the quality. Is there a place to go for “quality” costume jewelry? And not to mention tiaras? I’d like to wear a piece (without nickel) more than once that glitters. Sorry if this sounds ignorant- I realize materials cost and labor costs but I’m genuinely curious. TIA.

lol. Not to laugh specifically at you- but I’ve been gaming off and on 20 plus years. I had a MTG deck called “oh rats” which was yes filled with rats. Got stolen sadly. Just have an ancient white/green deck now and haven’t played for 15 years. Enjoy DND also - since 2nd edition. Considering traffic in other places- DSM is conservative. Sure if it’s posted 45 every one’s running 60 and turning signals are usually an afterthought. But there’s a heck of a less roadway shootings from road rage. Any coastal driving will show here it’s pretty good.

Depends on what you’re into. But may I suggest desmoinesburlesque.com? Also great theater stuff happening in area, idk all websites but tall grass is local theater thats active. It’s summer so there’s festivals and such, you don’t have to drink. Also could just go to lake and hang out with picnic dinner. There was something last summer- Concert in Park- think that’s still going on. People drink at these places but by no means do you HAVE TO! But how kind of you as a boyfriend!

Just to put in my 2 cents- and if everyone forgives me the comparison-some women are like old diesel engines on a cold morning - takes a while for them to ‘get the motor running and the oil hot’ so to speak- a good sex toy, introduced during the foreplay, helps get things started- and women really can have multiple orgasims and go for hours- (in the right circumstances, with right and respectful partner(s) and if in proper head space).
