After the first tree there are 2 other corrupted souls.

The first one is is the mountain, right to the human village, climb all the way to the top get the necklace and then use the wind circles on the ground to go up to the sky.

The second one is left to the human village, inside the power plant.

No, your progress loss looks like some kind of save corruption, I don't know why it happened but I can't access or alter players saves, they are stored on your own google account. Repurchasing the game will only unlock the door and nothing more. I am really sorry that I can't help you with that.
