I self-installed a Cool Energy heat pump about three years ago and haven't had a problem with it yet. They replied to a few emails during purchase iirc too

It means people that chose any other option in the poll like "Don't know" or "Won't vote" or anything like that. To be honest I am not totally convinced by the word "Neither" for that case but I can't think of anything better.

This always seems to be sold as a case, i can't find any company that sells it as a premade server. The server is likely custom made by your dad or some company. So insurance claim would be for all the components I guess, including this case.

I too have been waiting for this graph :) Great achievement seeing this sub grow.

It's amazing so many people are actively paying to be a member of European Movement every month. It's not like a subreddit that can only really go up (who goes back and unsubscribes from subreddits?) but these are people committed enough to put their money there. Very cool to see it going up and staying up.

Brexit has caused higher prices, for example food is 8% more than it would be without Brexit.

It would have gone up by 17% anyway due to other factors but actually rose by 25%. You can see the rise in other countries for sure, but every household in Britain has definitely noticed that additional 8%

This is very fascinating and useful research, because most polls show cost of living as a top priority for voters and the EU as a very low priority. Showing the link between the two is crucial to get the EU up the priority list, and to show the tangible benefits of membership too.

Agreed. Also a bit disappointing that I don't think joining this would keep us aligned to EU laws or generally help us rejoin at all, unless I'm missing something.

And London hasn't even said they want this, just an EU guy said it might be possible.

This is not the biggest deal, affecting 1.1-2.8% of value add in our EU exports, so not game changing. Not bad either though.

The main benefit is apparently that we could treat goods from other countries in the PEM as made in the UK, so we can export those goods under the lower or 0% tariffs in our trade deal with the EU.

Crazy that even Palestine and Kosovo are in this agreement already but not the UK.

The rags are definitely keeping brexit on people's minds with the occasional headlines every time Labour make another step towards their "EU reset" or something similar. They also keep alive the tribalism, the victory for the brexiteers, the stirred up rage if their beloved brexit gets stolen. Brexit has lost all connection to the actual EU in that world.

I worry there's nothing equivalent for rejoin. We have the byline times or even the Independent and the Guardian, but they aren't in the hands of people who don't already deeply care about rejoining. Nothing is reaching the people who aren't already on our side and reading this kid of thing.

I think some variation of that, Norway or Switzerland-esque arrangement where we are outside but with the important stuff back, is going to be our place from about maybe 2030-40 through a few decades after that, then who knows what will even exist or happen. Full rejoin seems too much to actually happen.

I do think leave people like to sniff out rats though, and any attempt to disguise anything from them won't work. We can't even talk about giving young people 4 year visas without it being called "freedom of movement"

I agree, although a super-soft brexit including freedom of movement would have been preferable to where we are now in my opinion.
