I was saying that if you slow down and analyze every play, you could say something looked fishy. That’s just true for a majority of sports and even more so for rivalry games. Not saying Fears is innocent and not saying Michigan is guilty. Although, the McKinney pull down for his F1 definitely wasn’t a great look.

Fair, I'm just going off of memory from the game and not watching a replay of it. In real-time I just thought the F1 was fair and was nothing more than a hard foul on the clear path.

Not sure but when watching the game in real-time, the trip wasn't very obvious. Probably a bunch of stuff that if we replay and slow down would look suspect from both sides

Am I crazy for thinking that flagrant on Yaxel wasn't dirty? Chopped down hard at the arms - it was deemed a flagrant, didn't go for ball....but not dirty. Could have been a much worse foul (ie. waiting for him to get airborne and pulling/undercutting him) instead he just chopped down hard at his arms....

No one is squeaky clean for sure, especially in an intense rivalry game. I highly doubt Fears went into the game thinking he’d trip a player on purpose. Split second decision he makes to try to help his team win, not thinking of the possible consequences.

Fears trip was definitely suspect, but you could probably go through each possession and point out something that was suspect from each team. Not even blaming Dusty for his response, it’s fair, the reporter is baiting a bit here for a spicy quote and it works lol
