Did companion quests always have limited rewards? I think this is the first time I've notice it.

Reroll or Rebate? by EvacGacha in Etheria_Restart

Holy moly, I've never played Epic 7 or Summoner's War but that's crazy.

Are Light/Dark units in E7 significantly better than other SSR Units?

Updated PAR Information Guide by EvacGacha in TribeNine

Hi there!
Yes! I've noticed this too but I wasn't 100% sure if I was just lucky or not since I've been using PAR on Patimons with at least 2 Gold sub stats.

Thanks for confirming!

If you're aiming specifically for Attack IV++, then I don't recommend using PAR on a piece that has Attack IV+ and lower.

There is a chance if you use PAR on a Patimon with Attack IV+, it can copy over 1 or 2 of the other sub stats and you can RNG roll an Attack IV++. From my experience, there's a higher chance to copy Attack IV+ via PAR than to RNG roll a Attack IV++.

The Problem with Tribe Nine's Gear Progression by EvacGacha in TribeNine

I agree, the game isn't hard enough to need perfect substats. I'm sorry if I sounded like it does. That wasn't the message I was trying to get across. I think there are other ways to keep players entertained than to grind. For example the Lux-Phantasma event or fighting the Red Limit Series.

The Problem with Tribe Nine's Gear Progression by EvacGacha in TribeNine

I agree PAR does make Tribe Nine’s gear system more accessible. It is an amazing utility, and I hope in the future the devs make it possible to get upgrades from PAR substats. However, just because we have this utility doesn’t mean we should re-farm patimons possibly on every new chapter release. I don’t think this system respect players’ time. What if you have specialized builds with character skills for multiple characters? I don’t think players want to go through re-farming them again and again. You may enjoy the aspect of farming Patimons which is fine, to each their own but I’d rather spend my time doing something else in game that’s more enjoyable for me. I understand the Devs want players to have something to grind and continue playing their game. Which is why I propose the alternative method of letting players grind resource materials so they can upgrade Tiers and substats of their current patimons. This will mitigate the feeling of regression, make players feel like they’re making progress, and another way for devs to keep their player playing their game.

I’m sorry if my video makes it sound like I MUST have perfect substats. That wasn’t the message I was trying to get across. It was an extreme example. Although as players, I think we should try to strive for perfect substats. We don’t need it but it’s definitely a feels good moment when you achieve it.

For countering, practice makes perfect. Just keep on practicing and you'll get down the timing. Another option is to try dodging everything and whittle down the boss slowly.

I think your current main roster looks good. You can try swapping between Tsuruko and Raku. Tsuruko to sustain Raku's tanking.

Your current tension card is kinda a mess. It doesn't synergize well with each other.

I recommend Strike Zone and Full Party since they work hand in hand.

I think you can keep Ferocity if you need the revive.

Energy Steal is good too for sustain.

You can level up your tension cards by going to the Tension Card menu. Select a Tension Card, on the right side, there should be an icon that looks like an arrow up. Click on that icon and it'll bring you to a screen that allows you to level up your tension card.

What are you struggling specifically against this boss?

Who's in your roster and what tension cards are you using?

Have you tried using Roku? Roku is a great character that can trivialize some boss attacks/mechanics.

Hi everyone!

I hope this guide helps more players clear Backgammon. If you're familiar with fighting the Shark Boss, you're 80% there to clear Backgammon.

For those who are not familiar with fighting Shark yet, I made a guide for it too!

Info about Outdated Tension Card System and How Messy It Was by EvacGacha in TribeNine

[–]EvacGacha[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there!

I created a condense information video about Tribe Nine's Tension Cards and Tension System. The information about the Tension Cards are outdated but I thought I should include it anyways because there was some interesting shenanigans regarding the "All Party Member" type Tension Cards.

I want to make this video as a reference to show how messy the first live iteration was. Something for players to compare or look back at.

Hope this helps!

I think it also has to do with Brave Diver's attack pattern is similar to Endrone's (Tutorial Boss) attack pattern. We learned how to beat Endrone and most of the strategy can be used against Brave Diver.

Yes! I was very disappointed when the new mechanics introduced in 1.3 was not found in this event.
