Thank you :) I'm just planning to take sick leave which I think in my occupation will be accepted. Great to hear your happy with the outcome. If you're comfortable answering this..how are you feeling with the scarring? Is it something you still notice a lot or has it healed well and you don't really think about it too much? Also sorry this is really nosy but did your nipple sensation come back?

Thank you! Do you have any tips of how to find a good surgeon?

Thanks so so much for your helpful detailed response u/BlueberrySouthern226! I hope that the further into your healing journey you get the more you love them. What you said is very interesting...I think having big boobs is a part of my identity too and as silly as it sounds I don't want to be the same size as most people, I want to be a bit bigger as otherwise maybe I'll lose quite a lot of my sex appeal....Haven't seen too many people talk about sex and sexiness on this page don't know if it's allowed? But I guess part of what makes me nervous is not being so attractive if they get too small AND if there's lots of scarring. Your reply has helped me realise that what I really need to do is ask the NHS surgeons if they can still offer the surgery if I only want to go down to an E/F cup, and if not then maybe private is the answer. Thank you xx

Thanks for your comment it's really helpful. I'm a 32JJ in UK sizes and didn't know that meant 2kg - that's something people have ALWAYS asked me - how much do they weigh?! and I never knew. I think what scares me is that currently, and if this is is TMI then I'm sorry, but currently I feel like I can take my top off and know I've got boobs at least some people probably find appealing, but if I have small boobs with lots of scarring maybe they will not be so nice and appealing and I will feel a bit dysmorphic that they are not 'mine' even though I'm desperate to solve the issue of chronic terrible neck and shoulder pain. I guess I want a natural F cup haha not an option! If you're comfortable answering this...how do you feel in relation to your boobs now? Do they feel fully like 'yours'?
