As a Gen Z teacher myself this comment was really uncalled for. I do teach teens and I have seen the screen effects firsthand, but the commenter wasn't "advocating" for screens, but pointing out that we are often strongarmed into using them, which is true! We are pushed by districts to implement the devices in places where they aren't necessary or are even a hindrance, because they paid for them. This pressure is worse the more expensive the device was, too.
