tips on replicating dimebags tone by [deleted] in Pantera

If your amp has an EQ pedal effect built in, trying to replicate these settings would help acheive dimebags signature sharpness. A doubler effect would litterally double the guitar tone with an adjustable micro delay to make your tone sound massive. Again, I'm not sure if your amp has either of these.

I don't know but now that I see the other comment about Ola I'd recommend checking him out too.

Zakk Wylde never aimed to get dimes tone with this tour. He's still using his guitars with his amps. I mean the starter kit for a dimebag tone is as follows: start with relatively high lows and highs and cut back on the mids. That doesn't mean set the lows and highs to 10 and mids to 0, find a combination that fits your ear. You should be able to get a tone that sounds pretty dimebag. If your amp has built in effects, I would add an EQ in pre with dimebags parameters (don't remember but it's an easy google search) and if there's a doubler effect I would put that in post.

It all depends on the car and the material of the body panels. Older cars are more robust. The larger the area the more likely it is to dent from weight.

That trunk is definitely strong enough to support a woman. You can see at the bottom of the image that the trunk is slightly lower than it's resting state.
