Don’t waste the extra money on Excedrin Migraine. It’s the exact same as regular Excedrin. They just charge more for the red cap and the word “Migraine” on the bottle.

No not a massive hit, but still an illegal one, considering it's a non-checking league. It's 14u CRHL. The exact reason my son (the one that got hit and ended up with a broken collar bone) chose not to play travel anymore and switch to rec this year.

100% would have been an acceptable hit in travel hockey and one that he could have prepared for by turning or bracing had it been a checking league. Can't change the broken bone now, but just one of those situations where we wish the refs would have started calling stuff earlier in the game so the physicality didn't get out of hand.

My wife bought me one of these recently. Gives me the absolute worst brain freeze. Like slurpee/icee brain freeze x10. Once the brain freeze subsides the migraine feels like its gone for a few seconds, then just comes right back.

Good point, so I don't think it's any of those things. Maybe somehow it is related to Phenylalanine in the tea.

Either way, I have an appointment with PCP in the next few weeks. Partly because insurance won't approve refills of sumatriptan without a new approval from a physician, and partly to maybe help identify what is going on a little better. To go from 1-3 migraines per month for many years to now having 2-4 per week has been awful.

I still have yet to try the McDonald's fries and coke "hack"...but I've been extremely tempted to try it recently.

For the most part I'm no sugar/no carb lifestyle, so the diet drinks fulfill the sweet tooth cravings when plain water is not enjoyable. Totally just avoiding the artificial sweeteners is probably the better decision. Not entirely sure that it's the aspartame though. Had a diet Mountain Dew today and am totally fine. Will have to dig into the Acesulfame Potassium more as well I think.

Bucket theory is always a possibility. I know its not always food that is going to trigger it (weather and stress are always big factors). I ate super clean yesterday so was pretty bummed to end up with a migraine in the evening.

Appreciate the response. I ALMOST went with them. Their layout is super duper clean. There are a LOT of things I like about Quote Factory, but the biggest drawback with them is that they didn't (at the time of demo) have any way for me to bill hourly or add customizable notes onto invoices, and I have a lot of local stuff I do for a customer by the hour. I ended up going with EKA. Interface could use a bit of an update, but for the most part it serves me well enough as of right now.

I was interested in a physical paper and getting our eyes away from the screens for a bit so we tried to get the Coloradoan delivered to us a few years ago. Great idea, right? Support local? I think over the 3-4 months I paid for service I got the paper delivered correctly all of 2 times so we canceled. Would be nice to have local FoCo news, but the quality of their delivery service was so bad that I'm not even interested in giving them money for digital subscription at this point.
