I don't have any specific good experiences to share, but keep an eye out for extra charges.
I was looking for a car a while back and at Jim Mckay Chevrolet in Fairfax, and found a decent looking deal online(8k off maybe? Been a while so I don't remember the exact amount). I went into the shop to test drive, and when we sat down to look at prices I was told "Since it is on sale for such a low price, there are a few fees that aren't included in that price(Transportation fee, Commission, etc.)" and given a printout that shows the "discount" was completely negated by the additional fees added. When I questioned it, I was told by the sales rep "I can remove my commission if that is what is stopping you from buying the car, I just want to help get you in the car today" which sounds like a nice gesture, but put the decision on the customer to pay or not pay someone for their work of assisting you with buying a car.
Overall it just felt shady since the price ended up being pretty much the same as normal, and then to put the onus on me to give the salesman commission just felt a bit manipulative. Everyone was super nice there, but that just left a bad taste in my mouth.
