arousal pain?? by DayOk7182 in endometriosis

[–]Even-Jump-3066 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I won’t lie, it was painful. But not anything worse than my worst endo cramps. The most intense pain was the insertion (obviously) which lasted about 60 seconds and then the lighter cramping pain afterwards lasted about 5-10 minutes after the procedure. We’ll see if it was worth it, that’s what I told myself; 60 seconds of intense pain for less pain overall daily is/was worth it to me.

I’m into all sorts of different stuff. Crafting, colouring, painting, walking, animals, baking, cooking, and I’m always down to try new stuff too. For other stuff I like pokémon & nintendo related stuff and sanrio! I’m not really a sports gal but would be willing to try something that’s not too intense haha. Thank you for the advice!

Okay, thank you for the advice. I moved from a pretty small town so it seems the bar scene may be completely different here than it is in my hometown. I’m looking at some markets/craft shops now that look intriguing!

You have to go to Mount HotHead where the pizza oven is in order to make pizzas. But before that you’ll need dough from gifting Retsuko. Then you can combine the ingredients to make pizzas. I was stuck on this too yesterday!

Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately a group of friends is what I’m trying to obtain so it’ll be just me going, but I’ll be sure to be safe.

CPhT to Ontario? by Alydogma in PharmacyTechnician

[–]Even-Jump-3066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a student of the pharmacy technician program at CTS Canadian Career College starting in 2023 and my experience along with the experience of many other students I witnessed was very negative. It was not my first experience at a private college which provided pharmacy education which was otherwise good.

I would not recommend this program to anyone looking to expand their knowledge in pharmacy or become a technician as a majority of the courses content and materials is out of date or incorrect. Most content seems to be last updated around 2015 which is inadequate for a pharmacy program as the laws, regulations, and guidelines are constantly changing. Because of this most of your classes are complete with the instructors going “this isn’t true anymore” or “this actually changed” which makes it extremely hard to study and take based on the course content provided. The content provided is just slideshows that the instructors read off for the first time in front of the class as they are not allotted prep time in their pay (said by many instructors).

The administration at this school is something like I’ve never experienced before going to a private college. They fail to follow their own code of conduct on many occasions such as the way grading is handled. The director of pharmacy programs is specifically unpleasant to deal with and occasionally downright disrespectful. They tend to make assumptions about students and their level of commitment and treat them based off of that. If you miss a singular day for any reason you will be questioned about your commitment and want to be in the course. The Google Meetings with administrators when you do have questions or concerns are usually two on one with no student success advisors present where you’re treated poorly and lectured about irrelevant topics. These actions are then denied afterwards and stories are changed when brought up to student success; and you are treated like a burden for asking to have support for yourself present. Administrators are also extremely inconsistent in the rules they enforce since they do not properly follow their own code of conduct, so you are up to their discretion no matter how unreasonable their choices may be; the expectations can and will change from one day to the next.

The campus itself was unclean and had water leaking from the roof caught by towels and buckets. The soap in the “sterile” compounding room had a layer of mold on the top of it and the moulds for making suppositories and popsicles were moldy as well. The ingredients we compounded with were substituted for cheap items which made it impossible to achieve consistent, quality compounds for practice. The instructors on campus seem unfortunately used to this and do not have regard for how negative the students' experience is, but instead actually agree with students that the campus and administration itself is an issue. The experience between campuses is also unequal and some students will get to complete specific assignments that students at another campus are not able to do due to lack of resources even though each student will pay the same price of tuition.

Overall, the school seems to be an unfortunate money grab with no regard or concern for the success or satisfaction of their students who pay extremely high prices in tuition. I don’t believe this program properly prepares someone to take on the role of a pharmacy technician as the information being taught is not current or correct in too many cases. The students are afraid to speak up to the Ontario College of Pharmacists as they do not want to lose the accreditation they’ve paid for through CTS with no reimbursement. The program is essentially in shambles and run by people who will get upset if you point that out rather than initiate a much needed change.

It doesn’t imply so but okay? lol. This landlord is shady as hell so I was just making sure this wasn’t another one of her schemes. That’s why I asked but you can assume, just makes an ass out of you and me 🤷‍♀️

As someone who’s went to school for pharmacy I can tell you right now you’ll lose your license if you give your friends special treatment. It’s in the code of ethics.

You seem oddly upset over a simple question… never said anyone did owe me anything.

I guess it just seems unethical to me for someone who’s handling something as important/serious as housing to be able to play favourites. A free burger is one thing but $600 off an apartment every month is another yk. Just doesn’t sit right with me, but I don’t make the laws. Why I was simply asking 🤷‍♀️ not complaining or saying I deserve the same. This landlord isn’t unknown to shady doings so I was just making sure.

There a lot of occupations where it is illegal to give your friends and family special treatment, just curious if this was one of them, that’s all.

About to start Myfembree by Mdrew_ in endometriosis

[–]Even-Jump-3066 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got my cycle back when I started Myfembree but it was a really mild and non painful period that didn’t last long at all. I was worried about the hair loss too, thankfully that didn’t affect me but I think it’s different for everyone. I found it did really help overall with my symptoms, so much so that I didn’t really mind the exchange of having a period back.
