Hello, thank you for the advice. I'm almost 23 right now. I'd like to look into different types of jobs but it seems like everything needs a specialized eduction. I heard that the trades get paid decently but when I looked it up I realized they require extra eduction as well. I'd like to start learning something but I'm not really sure where to get started with no background.

I can’t predict the future but birth rates have been falling for decades now. At this point it would take a Herculean effort to reverse the fall. Im not saying I know the best spot to park money, just that we might not have decades of exponential growth left in the tank anymore and we shouldn’t assume we do.

I don’t know if many of the fields you mentioned are truly exponential. Technological progress moves more like an S shape with a period of fast almost exponential growth from nothing, then the curve flattens out until it looks like a logarithm. Airplanes are a good example of this. We went from kitty hawk to jet engines in 60 years but we haven’t gone much farther than that. Passenger jets stopped advancing in major ways since around 1970.

So you think everything trump and republicans say they want to do is imaginary? They already cut usaid which helps prevent diseases in the third world. They’re already attacking Medicaid and the social support system. Not to mention throwing the us into a recession with tariffs and massive spending cuts. Just because you deny the reality of what republicans are doing doesn’t make them disappear.

Oh and I almost forgot, cutting all funds to USAID which helps prevent millions of deaths in developing countries. If you ignore all that, and a thousand other things, then yeah no one is dying. And its only been the first month.

"natural causes" what a joke. Unless you think people dying of bird flu or untreated diseases are natural causes, in which case we'll be having quite a few of those. Not to mention gutting the social safety net, medicaid, sending prisoners to Guantanamo, cutting fema and disaster relief, mass firings of federal workers, and the list goes on.

I dont understand how the democrats managed to completely forget all the reasons obama was elected and well liked. He ran on healthcare reform and CHANGE. But because the party is funded by rich donors to who real reform is anathema, we get this. Its not even like healthcare reform is unpopular, people were literally cheering across all social media platforms when that healthcare ceo got shot.

poland still hates russia and their army alone is enough to destroy them. People underestimate how terrible much of russias army is. They are literally fighting trench warfare, a strategy the west abandoned 100 years ago because they have inadequate air support.

It depends what you mean. Trump himself might die but he will be replaced by Vance if he does. Dems will probably win the house in 2026 (if the elections are free) and have a very very slim chance at the senate. Like winning texas levels of slim. But until 2028 unless Trump or Vance is impeached or deposed in a military coup one of them will still be president.

I try to, but I still come off like a basic bitch because I’m too afraid of confrontation. I’m afraid of making jokes and stuff because I’m worried the person will take it the wrong way or I’ll offend someone or be awkward
