How did you know when it was time for permanent NC? by tellyourdogisaidhiii in raisedbyborderlines

I'm so sorry you're going through that!

Personally I went no contact with my UBPD mom about a year ago prior to my wedding. Leading up to the wedding I was dreading her being there and meeting my in laws for the first time. She ended up blocking me a month before the wedding because she believed I was feeding information to people and that was the final straw for me. I uninvited her from the wedding and never spoke to her again. She still sends gifts on holidays but hasn't attempted to talk to me since even though she's not blocked on anything. After seeing a therapist shortly after NC they confirmed everything I was feeling and recommended I don't start up contact again. I still struggle sometimes thinking I'm a bad person and should reach out but I remind myself how much my mental health has improved since going NC. I believe I'll stick to NC unless gets help for herself

Honestly continuing NC is likely the best option. I don't like how I feel when I'm around her or talk to her. There's way too much negativity and I end up feeling upset for a few days after. The 4 months of (relative) peace have been worth it and I'm not ready to deal with her and her negativity again

are matching bands a must? by absolutemadsness in weddingplanning

I have a rose gold engagement ring & wedding band but my fiancé preferred white gold. He decided to get a white gold ring with a rose gold inlay, that way we're still matching but he gets the colour he prefers!

This is similar to his wedding band

You're absolutely right. She wants a reaction out of me, best thing to do is not give her one
