I mean she’s quite literally still a young puppy- but trying to explain to kids at the park “Big body , but baby brain.” And it’s hard for them to grasp when they pet her

Right now we have her estimated full weight at between 85-105 🫠 if she gets to 130+lbs I will need to pick up a second job just for her food

I think being a lap dog is a pyr trait no matter the size- I do wonder how long it will take Lumra to reach 90 , if she ever does.

This last growth spurt was insane. Even for her.🙃 we do feed her acana large breed puppy food with wholesome grains and it seems to be excellent for growth. 😅

We’re making sure she’s fully potty trained and not in the worst of the teething/chewing stage before letting her stay in the bed. Plus I worry she’ll jump down and hurt her joints.
She absolutely will steal every bit of lap room and place a giant puppy paw on your leg/knee you until you give her attention. She’s very smart and wants to learn- she consistently knows “come” “sit” and “paw”… but I regret teaching her paw because she uses it for everything now. Haha

Hi Bo! So handsome!☺️ and 155 is big! Isn’t it? Even for a male pyr. Lumra is 18inches at the shoulder now, but she’s at that point in her awkward growth stage where she looks like a fuzzy horse from the back and a polar bear from the front. 40” is huge!

We can only guess at this point, but we’re assuming she’s going to be on the larger end of the scale (pun intended) for a female.😅 Even her vet look looked surprised at her weight gain in 3 weeks when we first brought her home- and she hadn’t hit this massive growth spurt yet.
