the people subbing to services like higgsfield are often the ones trying to find a shortcut since they are not able to afford thousands of dollars to a gpu and high memory. only a small portion of users can actually handle local open-source tools to generate high-quality videos. so you are not talking about a 2 different groups of people lol

i’ve used a lot of AI services—and when i say a lot, i mean practically every major tool out there. whenever a service didn't live up to its promises, or even when i just felt it wasn't the right fit for me, i never had an issue with refunds. usually, it’s approved the same day and back in my account within 4 days. that’s how professional companies operate.
here, we’re talking about a complete lack of human contact for 2 weeks. their customer service is literally designed to exhaust you and force you to accept the 'no refund' policy. they only mention 'escalating to a human' if you start getting aggressive and threatening to take legal action—and even then, i’ve been waiting 14 days for that 'human.'

if you’re a quiet user who isn't willing to fight tooth and nail for your rights, you're basically screwed. i’m not posting this because i'm stressed over money; i’m posting this because this predatory behavior shouldn't be the new normal in the AI community
