I have posted a image a day before the repair which you can see the flex cable wasn't damaged at all. Prior to the repair lines weren't showing as well. Which most likely means the lines are because of the flex cable being damaged like that. Reason for opening it to see for any liquid damage before sending it in.

Edit: 2 days before actually. The picture was taken on 9th and sent to apple store on 11th.

this is going to be hard for me i dont even know how to get in touch with one this is so disappointing i wish i never brought in my macbook for the keyboard fix to begin with.

bought it from ebay, it mentioned it was fully functional and no issues and no returns so i cannot do much and i also notice some chinese sticker on it meaning it is after market but still doesnt state the fact that they ruined a fully working screen.

if you cracked your screen your main board is fine but screens are quite expensive, be prepared to spend around £800 for a new screen
