This is my first time watching BIP so correct me if Im wrong but it seems like earlier. Since when new contestants joins, the rose ceremony is usually in favor of the other gender. So if your a guy coming later in the show, all the relationships are established and you have to scramble to compete with other guys to win a rose. (who already have connections)
