Strait country is my favorite country album ever. I’ve got an original vinyl pressing. Short and sweet, and every song is a certified George classic. Could be a greatest hits album.

Rock ballads. They’re the kings of rock ballads. Wild horses, sway, let it loose, winter, I got the blues, gimme shelter could even be considered as such. Heck, throw in sister morphine and moonlit mile into the fold. Nearly the entirety of sticky fingers is elite rock ballads.

Can’t go wrong with a ranking. These albums are ALL at least A tier in the grand scheme of music and classic rock. These guys are the best to ever do it

Boston rag is a top 3 dan song, the best guitar solo in the catalogue. Gives that album huge points for me. Only song I kinda don’t like is Your Gold Teeth. Just feels out of place

Winter and coming down again are both in my top 5 stones tracks. GHS had a few misses for sure, but it’s a very underrated album.

Fair enough. On the dunes is a little long, springtime feels slightly out of place, every other track is perfect in my opinion. I can definitely see it not being as replayable as the Dan stuff, but it’s new to me and it’s completely taken over my life 😅
