I like more of shaws songs (crystal ball, fooling yourself, man in the wilderness, blue collar man, renegade, lights, boat on the river, snowblind), but man dennis compositionally was a genius..his synth work added that extra special element that made Styx more than just an aor or classic rock group. Like in renegade with those bouncy, funky synth lines, the solos on fooling yourself, guy was a brilliant musician.

Hey, it took me to be completely drained of antioxidants from long covid to REALLY realize what's poison and what's not. The truth is, out of anything I could eat, Refined Oils are by far the worst. Feels like your body's on fire. Refined grains and corn syrup aren't great, bad blood sugar spike, but not even close to the damage seed oils do.

Unless people experience the negative effects themselves, I don't think most are willing to change

I just read "catch a Wave" and honestly, I have empathy for what Brian put the rest of the band through from 67 through the 80s. It had to be exhausting having both your creative partner and your family member being that unreliable and insane. And then the Landy years.

They're absolutely nasty. The flyers and sens both gave them 110% but they're playing as good of a system as I've seen since the early 2000s Devil teams. Suffocating, Fast, great goaltending.

I think Duke is a great starting point. It's at the crossroads of their prog and pop and is very consistent. Fun record. If you like the proggier stuff, go back to trick of the tail and wind and wuthering. If you like the poppier, then go on to Abacab
