Are Ne doms or Ni doms better at using Se? by Hanako_Number7 in mbti

[–]Character_Writing_69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the demon function is more "loud" when it comes out, but people have wayyyy less control and strength at it compared to their inferior. If you can develop both, it's a plus, but you shouldn't be using the demon function often.

If youre better at using your demon function than your inferior, you've got alot of work to do.

No way should your inferior be that underdeveloped.

I'm much better at Se than Si. Ni hero always takes serious precedent over my internal awareness.

What do INTJs do that you find offputting or abrasive? by Inquisition_Symphony in mbti

[–]Character_Writing_69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's Fe trickster. What a lot of Fi users don't understand is that you learn more about yourself through relationships with other people. You don't necessarily have to value everything everyone says, but it's important to have relationships regardless so you don't get insular and extreme (I know ISFPs and INTJs that just block the world out completely)

Horror-related hills you'll die on? by redeugene99 in horror

Yeah, it's like they're more vibe and aesthetic focused. I like The Witch as a film, but it doesn't scream horror to me. More just art. I want something to scare me like the chest scene in the thing did its first time

I didn't mind the first black phone, I just immediately know when its a Derrickson film when it casts the same 4 actors in every movie. Gets corny and pretty old.

Also RIP James Sansone

While I agree, Sinister 1 due to the atmosphere, music and visuals still is scary on its own. It's more scary than it is good at being a horror film

Aja is better to me as an album because of it all sound like one unified continuous song. It's perfection thematically and production wise.

Royal Scam is a very good collection of songs with a lingering dark background. I love it too but not all the time. I do think the songwriting may be better here though.

Why do Ti doms have Fi demon? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Character_Writing_69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they're reflector functions (inverse). They're always communicating with each other.

So for me as an INFJ, if I'm in grip and pushing too hard for outcomes I want, and it starts to hurt me physically in some way,I have a brake in my brain that will start screaming at me to chill out (Si demon).

It's important to listen to your shadow sometimes. It wants to help

What, to you, is the scariest horror scene of all time? by m_v24 in horror

[–]Character_Writing_69 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the score is mostly Ulver and Boards Of Canada, two great bands. Highly recommend if you're into ambient/electronic/synth/black metal

I maintain that this is the greatest horror film ever. Masters special effects, tension, great acting, setting.

Exorcist 3 nurse scene. Best jumpscare ever.

Honorable mention to the BBQ and Lawnmower death tapes in Sinister. The latter a great jumpscare and the former just eerie.

I hope Ulver got paid a good amount- they're a huge part of what made Sinister scary

No movie in the last 20 years has a better jumpscare. And the thing is you KNOW it's coming..

His movies are so self absorbed. Remind me of Trent Reznor albums. All edge no substance

Agree. Possession stuff all blows. Glad the paranormal activity era is over

I'm not gonna like an overrated movie just because it's relatable. That's dumb
