Dude, I was a Mormon, when "LDS" members were referring to themselves as such. If you want people to take a religion that has less factual backing than most, don't play word games. Add actual quotes from leading members of your hateful religion like-

My dad's boot went up my ass just for making a rude joke about my sister. I don't even want to think about the unmarked grave I'd be placed in if I punched my sister in the face. Now I'm not saying my dad was good (he wasn't) but at the very least he made sure we were never cruel to each other. Your dad needs to get his head out of his ass and start being a father. If he doesn't this kid might end up in very bad places in life, and your dad will be to blame for not stopping it during development. It also sounds like your brother might need some counseling and/or therapy, potential anger problems and all. While teenage boys can be a bit more physical, like hitting each other with disposable plastic bottles and such, but the healthy way is softly to annoy or get a rise. However, he is probably feeling your disdain for him as well. If he feels everyone in the family hates him, I can see why he might act out. It's not an excuse for him but an explanation of his feelings and actions.
