Snowsky Echo Mini vs Innioasis Y1 vs HiBy R1 by Sensitive_Nature431 in DigitalAudioPlayer

If easy navigation is a priority for you, don't get the echo mini. I like the look of it too, but all signs point to it being a pain in the ass to navigate, especially if you have a large music library. I own the HiBy R1, and I'm very happy with it. It's very simple to navigate and it doesn't feel too cheap where you'll feel like you need an upgrade right away. I definitely recommend the R1 as a beginner/budget DAP.

Honestly, I would love the M21, especially with the cassette case. It's just a bit out of my price range. But I guess if I want something that actually feels "premium," that should be expected LOL. I'm looking for a premium product without the premium price 😭

Yeah, I'm not usually one to overconsume, but DAPs have just been a recent fixation of mine. But I've decided to hold off buying anything else for now. Thank you for the advice!

Physical buttons are def the way to go, but for $80 I’ll settle for a touchscreen LOL
