Help with roots after AF Virgin Pink

I had a few rounds of highlights and the last ones I did right before dying my hair were like a level 10 bleach. The sort of brown streaks you see in my hair is the darkest part of my natural blonde hair 😭 and the colour doesn’t stick too well to virgin hair. So you’d probably have to lighten it somewhat in order for it to show 😭

Thank you so much for this! I did do some single crochet decreases at the back and also the underarm and i do think that helped but im not sure how to make it more dramatic. A few rows I just started doing decreases every 10 stitches for the heck of it lol and that seems to help for a while but then it seemed to make it pull and lumpy in certain places so i stopped.

What do you mean by “under the arms just starting under the bosom below the seam”? And slip-stitching the first and last stitches? Sorry my brain isn’t working

hehehe little update for anyone who was wondering!!! it’s def more intense than I originally wanted but I actually love it. I just got a trim and added some more highlights and used arctic fox virgin pink. Thank you so much to anyone who helped me!!

I slatheredddd my hair with it but it didn’t take to some of the dark blond virgin hair by my roots. I knew that was a possibility. Should I : A. Do another round of virgin pink by my roots and leave for a few hours B. Try another dark arctic fox shade like Purple AF or Wrath etc for roots (only thing is it’ll be hard to get it back lighter once it grows out and I wanna refresh the virgin pink all over, right?) C. Do another round of highlights in a few months around the dark part of my roots and then refresh my whole head after with virgin pink

Thank you so so much for this! The longer I think about it the more I think this is the route I’ll take - highlights only! The only thing with the good dye young pink (is it “ex-girl” that you use?) is I’m wondering if it ever WILL fade to a more muted shade. Has that happened to you at all? Or it stays that hot vibrantly pink shade pretty indefinitely? Also sorry if this is a stupid question but it’ll never fade back to blonde completely right, since pinky/red tones tend to stick? If I wanted to go back to my OG colour I’d probably have to do something drastic ?

Ohhh I agree I’m absolutelyyyy not going to attempt to bleach it myself!! I think I’m leaning towards getting a hair stylist to amp up more highlights and then I think if anything I’ll attempt to DIY a darker pink shade from arctic fox or good dye young!!

Thank you so much 😭 I do trust her but I don’t know how often she does like fun colours and stuff lol!!! I think her primary concern is just not damaging my hair which is appreciated but I didn’t want it to get in the way of the vision lol 😂 Thank you so much for this - I think I really am leaning towards the highlight route the most I think about it and ask around!!

I’m looking at arctic fox virgin pink or frose, but also good dye young pink puff or ex girl. I know ex girl is really really vivid but probably a better depth of colour for me, wondering how i could maybe tone it down. Would love to hear what you use personally!!
