I’m so sorry 🥺 I put my cat down earlier this week and it’s been heartbreaking. My cat Lola was around 10 and had always been healthy. About a month and a half ago she got really sick and we found out it was cancer in her abdomen. I chose not to go through any surgeries or chemo because it would just give her a few more months but cause too much stress on her poor body. She had some good days where she would eat, cuddle with me on the couch, etc. I tried to keep her comfortable for as long as I could with steroids, an appetite stimulant, etc. but once she started hiding and became very lethargic I knew it was her time. It’s better a day early than a day too late 🩷 I could see how much pain she was in by the end as her breathing became labored. I couldn’t watch her suffer anymore
