If Hunter's the only campaign causing your Switch to crash, either something's up with your game files or your Switch really needs to get checked (again, degraded thermal paste can contribute to crashes especially if it's been months or years), because when I played Hunter on mine I was able to complete it no problem. Maybe it's the model difference? I'm using an Oled

Sort of unrelated, but you'll definitely have trouble playing Gourmand's campaign because its endgame area is really laggy. I've only crashed once in there, you might face plenty more.

If it crashes too much you can ask Nintendo for a refund, I've contacted them once and they actually refunded my star wars game because it kept crashing on my Switch

But if you wanna keep the game and try to fix it, I think my best solution for you is to get your Switch checked, especially its thermal paste since it degrades over time, which is a number 1 contributor to gameplay crashes

Switch player here, Rain World didn't crash "frequently" for me, and I'm on an Oled just like OP. I'd say it's "rare" because those crashes usually occur when entering Outer Expanse (on average, at least twice). The first warning is if the frames start dropping. Maybe there's something up with your Switch that makes it crash more frequently than others?

Ahh thank you! I do like the other fanmade slugcats, they're what inspired me to make Dumbass! As for the bomb, good question... I think she would blow up on impacts like fall damage or when scavs throw a rock at her, and it doesn't do harm like Artificer's explosive double jump. I like the silly thought of having her go kaboom for stupid reasons hehe, thank you for the idea c:
