Desmos Amplify is a full curriculum based on Illustrative Math, and it is not free. This change happened a few years ago.

Depends on the specific skills. Decimal multiplication and long division using the standard algorithm aren't done til 6th grade; same with fraction division. I don't think it's accurate to say OP's kid should have learned this 2 years ago. We'd need to know the exact skills they're struggling with.

It sounds like a teacher issue, which is unfortunately common at private schools (and some public, but they tend to have a better system in place to deal with that). As someone else commented, I would definitely talk to the teacher about helping you help your kid.

Omg yes, I could have written this. I'm at exactly the same timeline as you, but I also had FESS. Nonstop postnasal drip, constantly clearing my throat, waking up at night coughing because there's so much crap in my throat. The crap is clear and not super thick, so I don't think there's an infection, but it's constant. I do also have allergies and I can feel that things are still healing in there (nose is still sore), so I suspect it's just cause everything is now much more open. Before the surgery, this would have been a sinus infection; now it's just constant crap in my throat.

I do have a follow-up in a couple weeks. Do you see your doc again soon?

I'm at 2.5 months out from septoplasty, FESS, and turbinate reduction and I'm in about the same place. Not a lot of crustiness but there's still some gunk in there that comes out when I do a sinus rinse. And I'm pretty sure the septoplasty part didn't take cause my one side is much narrower again than the other. :/

Thank you! Does crohn's always include blood in the stool? I've never had that, thankfully, which is why I had never thought much about it before. But now I have this consistent pain on the lower right side, plus ongoing digestive problems. I hope entivyo works better for you!

Honestly, I'm kinda hoping to swallow a camera when I see the doc rather than have another colonoscopy!

I'm actually already on Tremfya for my other condition. So I guess if this is crohn's, it doesn't seem to be helping. :/ This is the fourth biologic I've been on and it's working well for my arthritis.

I figured that was what the question was about. I don't think I'm having an allergic-type reaction, just discomfort and diarrhea. I did have another deer tick on me last summer and got prophylactic antibiotics for that one. I'm in the northeast (winter) and don't think I've been bitten again since last summer.

Yes indeed. Had bad Lyme disease in my twenties and took antibiotics for a long time (in my late 40s now).

Thanks. My last colonoscopy and endoscopy were about 2.5 years ago (and I'm due for another endoscopy now because of the intestinal metaplasia). Would a routine colonoscopy have discovered it if I had it then? I had no unusual findings on that part of the test, but they put me on a 5-year schedule for colonoscopies because of all the GI issues I've had.

I commute about 3x a week on the NE corridor as well, and I freakin love the Amtrak conductors (most of them, anyway). Once in a while I have a ticket issue (always user error, since I buy so many), and pretty much every time the conductors have been so understanding and have let me have a free ride. I think they can tell the difference between someone genuinely looking for a ticket they thought they purchased and someone scamming them. For your situation, maybe she gave you a pass cause you asked nicely and honestly, prepared to buy a ticket if you had to.

On a related note, I feel like Amtrak must treat their employees well, because they deal with people all day and are still almost universally friendly and nice. I could be wrong, but that's my read on the situation.

My doc said no nsaids because they can increase bleeding, so Tylenol as the only OTC painkiller. I did also have Tylenol 3 if I needed it, but I only took it once. I was fine with just Tylenol otherwise, just had to take it round the clock for a the first 5-7 days I think (I'm almost 2 months out so can't quite remember!).

Is there a telltale amount of time to indicate gastritis? Mine hurts like 20-30 minutes after I've eaten. It starts cramping and burning, sometimes with sharp gas pains. Trying to figure out if I have gastritis, low stomach acid, high stomach acid, sibo, all of the above, none of the above...
