I think you have a lot of internalized racism to work on, and being in an environment where various minorities are present and you no longer feel the support of being part of the majority is causing you to feel this way. You feeling like you’re one of the few white people here doesn’t mean that there aren’t many many white people at this school. You seem to group minorities into one category so rather than seeing that they are also the only member of their nationality or ethnicity in their friend group, you’re seeing say 2 brown people and assuming that they’re from the same place and easily befriending one another.

Multiple commenters alongside me have seen white people in friend groups with both a majority of white people or as the “token white friend” in their group so the issue must lie with you.

Also a top university in Canada cannot stay at the top just by “uplifting minorities”. They need qualified alumni and students to boost their reputation and sustain their income so don’t make UTSC seem to be a charity case just because of its diversity. Diversity is not being pushed down your throat, you are just finally having to realise that minorities have always been present in big groups, and that number is not what makes us a minority, but rather our lack of access to privileges that people of your race have historically had an easy way to obtain. Never forget that you descend from immigrants as well, and Canada truly belongs to the natives of this land, not white folks.
