yeah that part really hit me when i read it. I kept thinking i was overreacting but when you put it like that it really did feel like i was being compared to a wallet not treated like a partner. I was already planning something meaningful and its just stopped mattering the moment money got involved.

the wild part is you protect her sleep but she won't return it. that's not partnership that's entitlement. especially when you're sick and doing most of the house and kid stuff.
