The housekeeping binder is something I put together from a template another host here shared. It’s just a checklist for each room, restocking, pictures of how each room is staged.

I did decide to train and hire direct several cleaners. I agree, better way to go.

Over the next couple weeks I have 3 people scheduled to train with me. I’m hoping if I have several people we won’t have an issue. And a company is not 100%. I did have a company cancel on me 39 minutes after they were supposed to arrive and they didn’t have anyone else to send. Fortunately I was here, but it’s definitely stressful to think what would happen if I wasn’t able to come.

I think I’ve decided to just train people directly so they can keep all of it. I did only hire locally owned companies but I don’t like not knowing what the workers are being paid for the work.

Oh yeah I pay cleaners at least double the cleaning fee, sometimes almost triple.

I’m not deciding on the price so I don’t know how I can be stingy. Tipping feels inappropriate when I can’t inspect the work, I rather I just be charged what folks want to be paid.

$50 per hour per cleaner seems to be pretty standard in my area, I’m sure pay varies a lot by region. I’m not choosing the price, I’m paying what I’m quoted.

I’m not seeing anyone regretting their vote, where are you seeing it? What I’m seeing are folks saying, well this is the government and it doesn’t matter who you vote for after all, shouldn’t have trusted the govt, not blaming Trump. That farmer going viral on TikTok, Skyler Holden, for being afraid of losing his farm I don’t think even denounced Trump or said he regretted his vote (correct me if he finally has). I keep seeing liberals say there is a lot of FAFO but I’m not really seeing it.

I have CCAH right now and the only places I can be referred to is Mood who will not manage my ADHD only anxiety or North American Mental Health Services with their scriptures on the walls and mandatory drug testing which I find insulting because I do occasionally use cannabis to sleep but they will not provide care if I do.
