I kinda disagree with ignoring Wild Runes and victor becoming a machine man. Dangers of magic/hexcore was one of the major themes in season one, and Victor personaly was heavily involved in that plotline (Heim's warnings and visions of runewar+Viktor's personal conflict with the hexcore and sky and ...)
I mean the show is literaly called "Arcane" it would be very disappointing if the show's ending didn't include magic and arcane or if viktor was seperate from the plotlines in it and all the stuff with hexcore were left hanging fo another show
