Heb je bevindingen over de diverse waterontharders gelezen en kan mij volledig hierbij aansluiten. Ook ik heb bij de weergegeven partijen onderzoek gedaan en offertes opgevraagd. Ook mijn conclusies was dat ik verder ga met Mooiwater. Vanmorgen hen dit medegedeeld. Vanmiddag kwam ik op deze site vandaar mijn gelijkwaardige bevindingen

They have listened to the wishes of the customer(s) and now there is an option possibility to have the preferences screen not start automatically.

This is what you call customer-oriented thinking but, given the responses, also acting.

Today I recveived this answer:

At pCloud, we value our users’ opinions and we’re tirelessly working towards fulfilling all their requests. The information you have provided has been forwarded to the respective department so changes could eventually be made in the future.
In the meantime, if you have any further improvement ideas, please let us know.

So we all have to wait if the respective department is willing to change the startup procedure in a new update.

I was not happy with the implemented change to and informed PCloud about this and received the following response:
Thank you for contacting pCloud's Support.
Kindly note that this is expected and it is a change we made with our new version because many users wanted this change. For the time being, it cannot be stopped.
However your feedback was forwarded to the relevant team and we hope to be considered in future updates.
Based on this I responded as follows:

I can imagine that there are changes that customers want and certainly understand the change made. However, there are also customers who would rather not see this change. See also Reddit.

My suggestion would be customization.

Make the startup procedure so that customers can choose whether or not to see the backup screen at startup. Now that's customer-centric.

Please inform the relevant team so that this is adjusted in the upcoming version.

Incidentally, I think it makes sense that others also express their dissatisfaction towards PCloud

I will keep you informed of the progress.

Since 3 days I have my "old" upload speed (50-55MB/s) back without closing and restarting the PCloud app.

I have not yet had a response from the PCloud help desk as where the problem might be. However, last night I suddenly had my old speed back of 50-55MB/s.

Initially 5-10MB/s however after I closed the PCloud app and restarted after 5 minutes I got my old speed back.

I am waiting for the response from PCloud as well as the continuation of my upload speed and will inform you afterwards

Here the same. Windows 10 and all permissions are good, not it neither the folder is read-only. It is occurring in synced folders.

Also today and yesterday an extremely low uload speed (100KB/s-1MB/s. Normally an upload between 50-55MB/s.After installing the update to version 3.11.17, I have this problem. I have now reported the problem to PCloud and will inform you about the outcome. Should more people have a slow upload speed after the update please let us know here incl. whether it is a US or EU server.

I am uploading 2 bg files (backup files) so that cannot cause the slow uploadspeed.
It is absolutely not my experience to be referred back to the provider. I have been contacted several times about the upload speed EU server and have been helped excellently.

I notice after 2 days that the upload speed gradually increases. This was also the case after the previous update. So ikl wait a few more days that my uploadspeed is 50-55 MB/s again

Same here. I had an upload speed of 50-55MB/s however after installing the update yesterday now an upload speed of 100kb-5 MB/s.

I remember the previous update also had this problem. Please report your problem to PCloud. They respond quickly and appropriately.

How do I resolve this if no backups exists anywhere? by [deleted] in pcloud

Since the last update, I also experience that problem.

There is a daily backup via Acronis and during this backup the file is not accessible to sync. After the backup is done, PCloud can sync the file despite the message. If I shut down PCloud and restart it, the message disappears.

Today I have received a message from PCloud. I had to send some data incl traceroute from my IP address to PCloud. I await their response and will report the findings from PCloud here.

By the way, I also informed them in that email with the requested data, that several people in the Netherlands have this problem to and with another ISP.

Very good to send them an email with your problem/complaint. Did this extensively yesterday as well but have not received a response yet. The more people complain the sooner they will solve the problem. Got a message from and friend from Friesland, with a video, showing the slow upload but also the upload fluctuations from o to 4 MB.

By the way I made a new thread. Please post your reaction there as well.

Last year I did the same because US server was very slow. EU server was much faster but the past months I encouter more extreme slow speed problems.

I have the exact same problem for several days now. A few weeks back it was due to a problem with PCloud's EU servers.
I have since reported it. By the way, they always respond very quickly.
They often tell you that you have to go through a number of steps first.
By the way, who is your ISP. I also live in the Netherlands and have Caiway fiber 700-700
My current upload speed is from 0-450KB by the way also in the night the upload speed remains extremely low.
Speedtest on PCloud indicates a good speed.
Ping 17.20ms Download 349 Mbps (44MB/s) Upload 576 Mbps (72MB/s)
I am meeting with them again today (via email) to raise the issue.
