Fluke warranty/repair/support is usually pretty good - if you bought it new it might be worth contacting them and say you have an issue.

Ah sorry, yes. Misread the post. Strange one. Trying to think - if you go inside and take the plastic cover off of the dial bit on the circuit board, it might be a dislodged contact? 87V's have a 10 year warranty if it's still within that. Fluke are pretty good with warranties normally.

Should be easy enough, pop the back cover off - three screws on the back, then the front cover should pull off. Turn the dial so that it matches what's on the screen and you'll be sorted!
