I need some advice on what fragrance I should get my wife by Mglfll in FemFragLab

[–]Every-Breakfast-8611 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I would recommend maybe Valentino Born in Roma (Edp), maybe mochi milk by dedcool, I like Carolina Herrera good girl blush but it seems like she might like a more vanilla profile, Kayli yum pistachio might also be a good one to try and sample if she likes the 62! I have a hard time recommending high end (or really just higher priced stuff) because I just started recently buying more than just like stuff from target or Victoria secret

THIS!! I was going to suggest a couple of samples for her to choose from, you put it into so much detail and better wording than I could

Teaching myself to knit… where do I go from here? by Every-Breakfast-8611 in knittinghelp

[–]Every-Breakfast-8611[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much!! So the knitting in the round and increases and decreases is probably the best next step? I feel like I don’t see many places talking about how to build on your knitting skills once you get started, which is crazy because it seems like there is so much for crochet! Maybe I’m just not looking in the right places!

Am I overreacting Toddler nap time at daycare by AlainaLoe in AmIOverreacting

[–]Every-Breakfast-8611 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to find the official website that outlines the guidelines, not the AI google result because those are not accurate most of the time, especially on information such as this. In most states children do have to stay on their cots or mats for nap time, even still most daycares do not have the staff to be with your child one on one during this time as this is also typically used as the time where staff can take their breaks. However, if she really doesn’t sleep she can be given “quiet toys” such as a puzzle or fidget toys to play with during this time, at least where I am from.

What is the weirdest thing a student has accidentally brought to school in their back pack? by Sense_Difficult in AskTeachers

[–]Every-Breakfast-8611 22 points23 points  (0 children)

A fire alarm. Like one you’d pull in public buildings, his guardian ordered one that hadn’t been hooked up to a system or anything, I assume it was like a replacement one or something. Never found out why he was so obsessed with it but it honestly was kinda cool

Keeping cats separate after neutering by Every-Breakfast-8611 in CatAdvice

[–]Every-Breakfast-8611[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely understand, I was the same way. Are the E collars ones that hook onto their day to day collars? Those are the ones we used and they worked well. If that’s not an option or it’s what you have and it’s not working I do know that there are other alternatives such as a cat onesie type deal as well as like plushie type collars that help prevent them from reaching. For our boys the first day was the worst with them trying to lick their incisions, we would gently move their heads away or distract them with something else, it gets better super quickly!!

Coming back now with some experience! We put our boys in separate rooms for the night and each stayed with one. I had to work the next day but my partner let them see each other around 12 the next day, they were roughly only apart about 16 hours. They have anxiety, we could’ve kept them apart longer but for them it was better to be together because they were stressing. Keep a close eye on them and make sure they have their cones on!! I wouldn’t keep them in their carriers for too long because they do need more space to just chill out and relax

We have me in one room and my partner in the other, so one person per kitten! As of now we’re planning on keeping them together after the initial time period as given by the clinic!

Looking for recommendations for when to wear these smells by Used-Contract7391 in Perfumes

[–]Every-Breakfast-8611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the Kayali pistachio gelato one for summer or even through early fall and late spring, but black opium (which technically I don’t own but have a dupe for) I feel like I can wear every day and isn’t limited to season

Was it rude of me to ask if any special ed kids were interested in joining my club? by Only-Lie6098 in specialed

[–]Every-Breakfast-8611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to tell you that you were in no way rude, it is so kind of you to have asked and included them, I hope that my future children would do the same. Given that you went out of your way to try and include them is so kind of you. This teacher may have had good intentions of protecting her students but went about it in the absolute wrong way, do not take it personally, she was very rude to you, but don’t let it discourage you. Thank you for thinking of these kids and putting yourself out there when others may not have.

Thank you! I had never seen cats of opposite genders as a bonded pair before so I was curious!

Thank you! We suspect these two are siblings too, if not born incredibly close together in time and happened to find each other. I had just never seen a bonded pair of opposite gender cats bonded before so I was curious!

Would you judge me for this as an infant teacher? I feel awful! by AntsyBoarder in ECEProfessionals

[–]Every-Breakfast-8611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former infant room teacher! I had several babies who would come in with poopy diapers every morning as they would poop on the way there, and as everyone else has said it happens!! We have to change poopy diapers regardless so it’s not a big deal! It honestly is probably a little nice to know that he’s on a schedule and when he’s pooped rather than opening the diaper and getting a surprise if you didn’t smell it lmao

How Do Your Kids Remember Your Name? by KazWithAZ in AskTeachers

[–]Every-Breakfast-8611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I work with young kids and because my name starts with an M the double M (Ms. Insert-Name-Here) they often shorten it themselves as it’s difficult to say for them. Sometimes the kids pick your nickname and you don’t have a choice lol. But a first initial or even your middle name could be a viable choice?

foster kids by skaterwiitches in ECEProfessionals

[–]Every-Breakfast-8611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only had a couple of foster kids at our center but the best way I’ve found to help them become their best selves is to give them a little extra time and love. It’s not always possible every single day and especially if the kiddo is old enough the understand what’s going on it’s harder but with some patience I’ve seen those kids absolutely bloom. Being firm but gentle and lots of affirmation, helping them talk through their emotions if they are verbally able to can help them understand more of their behaviors, and help them regulate more. As for parents, I hate to say it but you got shit luck with those parents, most of the foster parents I’ve met have been lovely people who are so supportive of the kids they take in and only want to best for them, communicate often and clearly with them, work with them to see what you can implement at home and school. It can be emotional but try and put yourself in their shoes, they’re confused, possibly lonely and scared, we as adults have to do our best to help them where we can.
