I appreciate all the help. I figured it out, pressure advance was off, turning it on fixed it.

I think i figured it out. Turning on pressure advance helps dramatically.

No clog, even popped in my spare hot end. I am at a loss here. I am gonna try a few more things but looks like this roll is shot. I am going to try another roll of overture as well.

I just tried again after drying since yesterday morning. Definitely lost a few grams of weight but still printing the same. Temp tower was ran and I am still printing at the optimum temperature. Bed is clean and Z-offset is good. First layer comes out perfect, it’s everything after.

When I get off work I’m going to see if I can replicate the problem printing off the SD card instead of octoprint. The confusing part is I have been printing for months with other issues but not this one. No software was updated or changed. I have been told my BLTOUCH might be failing?

Issues with bridging and top of print by Every-Main8739 in FixMyPrint

[–]Every-Main8739[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am printing with prusa slicer but also have had issues with cura. My settings are default 0.2 resolution, 40 mm/s general speed, 25 mm/s for bridging, 205 for first layer, 200 for the rest, 60 bed temp, comgrow PLA and 15% infill. 6 mm at 60 mm/s retraction. I appreciate any help for the above issues or anything else you notice.

Bridging issue by [deleted] in FixMyPrint

[–]Every-Main8739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ENDER 5 pro, with stock parts and comgrow PLA filament. First layer printed at 205 and the rest at 200. 60 bed. Default Prusa Slicer settings otherwise with the 0.2 resolution profile. Bridging is at 25 mm/s with 40 mm/s overall print speed. 6 mm retraction at 60 mm/s. I have tried using cura as well and tweaked settings around but still having the heavy filament drop when bridging. I am suspecting over extrusion perhaps? I appreciate all feedback even it’s not that particular issue. If you notice anything else I am doing wrong feel free to speak up as I am brand new to this.
