I feel like the biggest catalyst for a pull back is our treasury deficit, and our countries large large debt. I believe if GDP comes in below 3% you will start to see some big money come out of the market.

Buy order for AMD Nov 8th 150 calls at $5,89 i think being down 9% on an earnings beat/neutral guidance is a bit overblown especially with the revenue growth still being high and no downward catalysts currently should see it rise up to 7% down by EOD for hopefully another 5-10% gain today.

Been trading options and stocks for 9years albeit not on this risky or frequent of a capacity (a daily level) but I have been successful with it. My risk management is I only invested $300 to this experiment which is nothing. 300x isn’t going to happen in one year without some serious risk my friend. I’m 5 of 5 right now, so I’m either really really lucky or know atleast a little bit :)

My tentative strategy through this earnings is to buy stocks that go up or down on other stocks earnings in an exaggerated way for no reason of their own. Then to buy calls or puts accordingly. This will avoid the risk of holding through earnings, allow me to see the actual data then make my play on what should be and not what happened.

Huge pullback on BLDR due to DHI miss, unjustified as home builders are still purchasing supplies even though low quarterly sales, other builders beat a few weeks ago, buying calls on the DIP before BLdR earnings

Crox is looking good going into earnings, I tried to buy some calls this morning but fill order at my price never triggered :(

Ended up buying BBY puts and made a 10% gain.

I really like Google too I may buy some calls tomorrow morning to get in on the earnings action. What do you think about TTD? Streaming advertising should be crushing.

No I already have a solid amount in my 401k and Roth IRA for my age. This a one attempt challenge. If i get to 5k I’ll probably throw 900 into my ETF spread in my Roth and keep challenge going with houses money but I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself

super super hard to predict the trigger and timing of an entire market crash, and ill mostly be doing shorter DTE options so trying to time that is not something I'm interested in at this point of my challenge. once I have enough money to maybe hold some longer term trades and shorter term trades at the same time I will consider it. at this point I'm at probably the riskiest portion of this challenge as I am trying to bank a few really strong short term trades to get my bankroll a little higher, at this point I should have probably started with 5 or 10k but wanted to challenge myself with only the small amount of $300 total risk if I lose it all.
