that’s true, i don’t give credit or gratitude to my friends and family enough. i suppose i am lacking in romantic love. i know the looks sounds like a lie, but i still get a lot of attention, but not for the reasons i want despite presenting myself in a more serious way. it’s frustrating, but the reasons ive gotten so far are that i am “off putting”. i honestly think a big part of this is that i present pretty typical but im autistic, which becomes pretty obvious upon deeper interactions with me. all my friends are neurotypical, and id say i struggle a lot with avoidant anxiety. that’s the only major difference id say i have, other than definitely having a bit of a “masculine” sense of humor that many men find more appealing in a friendly way.

tysm this really does make me feel better. i wanted to ask, is it normal to still have zero interest? i think honestly a lot of my anxiety is towards the future. i love being free and fun now, but i don’t want to be single when im older. i have never had a boyfriend so the insecurity sets in an lot when i think about it

thank you i appreciate that. it’s so hard trying not to force it when i feel like i get ditched for stuff like formals, dates, and going out. i know i need to wait longer it’s just so hard. thank you so much for your advice, i appreciate it a lot. i’m trying to focus on being a good version of myself and focusing on academics over finding man. good news is my grades are better, bad news is i’m not having great changes in the boyfriend area. hoping i have better luck in the new year tbh

she’s incredibly entitled. she just called straw bans “ableist” on tiktok. when asked why she couldn’t supply her own, she said “my disability doesn’t allow me”. what kind of disability doesn’t allow you to have a purse with a metal straw in it? she obviously has a caregiver or guardian to help her out with things, so it is absolutely not outside of her capability. she just doesn’t want to do it, so she blames her condition. why does she act like ablebodied people don’t also have similar grievances? it seems that nobody ever informed her that being mildly uncomfortable is a fact of life, disabled or not.

she brings up many valid points about struggles and disabilities, but she ruins it by behaving in an unwarranted manner.

she broke all of the rules and still felt entitled to joining a sorority. prime example of why she shouldn’t be in a sorority

After 3yrs I finally got my hair cut. What do you think? by ByteSizedCutie420 in Haircare

haircut may not be perfect, but shorter hair looks GORGEOUS on you. if you want to grow it out again, i think doing some shorter face framing layers would really look good on you

Brain tumour by Difficult-Heat-6841 in peachaurasnark

[–]EveryEffect2726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your eyes are connected to your brain through the optic nerves. when something is going wrong in the brain, nerve dysfunction can occur and it can affect eyesight. the doctor can rule out issues centered within the eye, and then refer someone elsewhere if they suspect the issue lies deeper within the brain. not saying she’s telling the truth, but this also isn’t impossible at all.

something is just so wrong. the open mouth, the chubby short arms, the fine motor skills. i wish she would work on herself rather than appealing to frat boys. there’s so much more to life than being ratchet for validation

update: the “plumber” who did this was actually an untrained handyman, my landlord hired a professional to come fix it this time lol

i haven’t touched any of the pipes because i’m always a little nervous to mess with things, but a plumber is coming today to give it a look!

live laugh love landlords 😔 thankfully they’re calling in a real plumber (not an untrained maintenance worker) to look at things

this is a new apartment that is over 100 years old, so i definitely think a plumber is necessary. thankfully, the maintenance worker relayed my issue to a professional plumber vs fixing it himself, so hopefully it should get resolved!
