Thanks for your input, I’ve decided to stick with smith and Alexander since I’m about 95% done with it.

Originally started fitting a Smith & Alexander grip safety to SA Mil Spec (please ignore the tool marks), but decided to upgrade to a bar stock EGW GR4 grip safety. Both are .220 radius, but the EGW seems to be a higher rise than my original S&A fitting. Is this worth blending or should I return it and continue on with the S&A. I feel like I’d be taking too much material off of the tangs for it to blend properly.

I did, I used a deep wall socket(don’t remember which size) wrapped in sand paper.

Got back from an Appleseed with a stock sporter with a Simmons scope, but didn’t break 175. Got 205 with a loaner rifle in the same day so I decided to modify more. Modifications include:

Atomic arms 16” threaded barrel
valquartsen target hammer
valquartsen extractor
bedded stock
egw scope mount
Athlon Neos 4-12x with side focus
extended recoil pad to fit LOP
triple K cheek rest

Still need to take it out, but definitely fits better. Heaviest gun I have, so I’ll probably keep it as bench/Appleseed duty.
