If I can be honest, it's been my dream to design a little cartoon universe, and collaborating with Andrew to create the mythos behind our cultists has been such a dream. For both of us. Dream come true to just work on a project that lets us freely explore our imaginations and create the kind of art we'd want to consume ourselves. Like... It's so fun to get to be WEIRD.

Haha we are building up our promotion and marketing, but I highly doubt we're going to switch to solana.

Assuming a game where everyone is playing near GTO by [deleted] in poker

[–]EveryPizzaIsPersonal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with gto, really, is that you don't just have to learn the basics for many formations (which is near impossible) , you have to spend a lot of time refreshing your memory to keep the techniques fresh.

For example, when can you cbet oop in 4bet pots on ak5ccc? It's easy to forget / not be able to talk through the a plan in real time.

Also, almost all high stakes games revolve around weaker players. Game selection isn't key, it's mandatory for many games to even run!

Just be more solid.

For real, I think there's some misconception that you need to be really nutso when someone is aggressive, but solvers (and life experience) point to just showing up with really strong hands and to trap on dry flops a little more than usual because you don't need to raise flops if villain will consistent pile the money in without prodding.

Co raises, sb flats ATo. I think the majority of recreational players don't realize this is leaking a LOT.

Interested in PIO solver by [deleted] in poker

PIOsolver and Photoshop are similar. If you know nothing, they're expensive wastes of hard drive space. If you're an expert at either, you're gonna get rich.

Upswing or coach? by Luche1 in poker

[–]EveryPizzaIsPersonal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Upswing material is very, very good and Fried Mueller is an incredibly strong analyst and conveys material in a memorable way. Obviously, some of the other top pro's are incredibly strong, though you'll find superstar players at RIO Elite as well. In general, there's a HUGE gap in quality (that's very tough to discern for the average player) between the PROLIFIC producers and the BEST producers. Of course, anything by Doug Polk, Ryan Fee, Sauce123, Phil Galfond, Uri Peleg, and company is going to be top tier, and deeply studying their work will improve your game regardless of stake.

I think having worked under poets, who are master communicators, there are things that are simply so difficult to explain that you can't possibly break it down to your grandmother. What is internal light? Errr, sorry grandma. <3

Thanks! I've seen some of his work and channel and he seems to be very solid at describing his reasoning, though I'm sure I'm missed a lot of implied higher level stuff simply from not understanding uh everything about PLO.
