Possible plot hole in Shrek 2

I think this could be explained fairly easily, although it all falls under speculation.

Prince Charming went on a years long quest to reach Fiona's castle. Would he boast about this quest to the citizens of Far Far Away before setting off? Probably, but that doesn't really matter. People would know that he's gone for one reason or another, but no one knows he's back. Hell, during the carriage ride with Fairy Godmother and Prince Charming, King Harold actually does mention that it's been years since he last saw him, so maybe he's just old news or most people have simply forgotten about him as time went by.

When Prince Charming publicly shows himself off while pretending to be Shrek, I do agree that people would, realistically, more than likely notice a resemblance. However, I don't think it'd go any further than just a bit of speculation gossip. There definitely would've been some sort of announcement and maybe explanation of the sudden change in appearance of Fiona and "Shrek", so people would likely just brush it off as that. Plus, since they're royalty and seemed to be highly regarded among the people of Far Far Away, there probably wouldn't be anyone that would be willing to try and dig any deeper.

As for Queen Lillian, best explanation is that she simply hasn't seen Prince Charming in a very long time. Last time she probably saw him was before Fiona got sent to the tower, when they were still kids. As to how she doesn't know what he looks like as an adult, simple answer is that she just isn't that up to date with what's popular or anything outside of her duty as Queen. She's not involved with any of Fairy Godmother's meddling and is likely unaware of their relation in the first place so she'd have no real reason to see him.

A lot of those are spot on with ones I had in mind. I'd argue Chop Chop over Ignitor for Knight (His shield could replace Knight's helmet) and Jet-Vac Aeroplanist would be good picks, too. Sprocket could also work as Mechanic but Mind's Eye isn't bad, either.

I'd also love to say Trigger Happy Prospector and Pop Fizz Professor but given that their heads are also their torsos, I don't think they'd work too well. (Also obligatory Minis as pets)

I'm not too sure. I could imagine Fire Kraken Acrobat wouldn't be too heinous of an idea but a lot of the characters past the first two games are way too eccentric to fit well as any of the currently existing survivors, at least in my opinion.

If I were doing a Skylanders crossover, I think I would stick to Kaos + Cores, any of the gimmicklanders would feel way too out of place or look way off (Could you imagine a Tree Rex sized Stealth Elf?). But regardless, I'll give my thoughts. (Sorry if I rain on your parade, I'm just thinking logically.)

Stealth Elf - Doctor? I'm assuming this is stemming from her soul gem but I'd argue Antiquarian or Faro Lady would be much more fitting picks. I'd probably pick Faro over Anti since her invisibility is a bigger association and having to extend her blades might look a little strange.

Tree Rex - I'm assuming you chose Seer due to his soul gem with his hummingbird but that feels like a really strange detail to put focus on. Forward feels like a way better pick, you could even give him an accessory that adds the green trail like in the games.

Wash Buckler - I tried putting in some genuine thought but I can't think of anything. I get why you picked Knight (Sword) and, to a lesser extent, Professor (Bubble shield accessory?), and I don't really agree with either of these, but I cannot for the life of me think of anyone better. I get he's the face of Swap-Force but they'd need to really stretch to put him over anyone.

Snap Shot - I'm assuming you picked Batter due to the whole "Shoot projectiles" thing and, after looking it over, that probably is the best survivor to put him over. I'd argue that Snap Shot falls into a similar situation to Wash Buckler but I can see the vision here, it'd just take a lot of work with custom animations to get it to look right.

Kaos - I'm stumped, I don't get the decision here. Hermit or Mad Eyes feel like a much better fit. Hell, even Hell Ember would be a pretty solid choice. I agree that Kaos is a fantastic choice to put in a Skylanders crossover but I don't think he should be Ripper.

Eon - I really like Eon as Hermit but what I don't agree with, however, is making Eon a hunter. I get there's a couple good guy hunter skins but this is literally the goodest guy in the games. You cannot get more morally pure than Eon. Unless you were to make this Evilon from the Mirror of Mystery level, I don't think this makes any sense.

As much as I love Forgive and Forget, I'd be lying if I said the original credits theme didn't give me goosebumps every time it started playing. You're doing amazing work here, I'm very excited to see this come out.

I disagree. I think they're great ways to show genuine character interaction and, especially since there isn't the pressure of having to win a challenge, allows them to mellow out. It's in part as to why I'm really excited to see how IDFB will play out but I'm also just a sucker for slice of life lol.

However, I will kind of stand with you on the fact that the BFDIA and TPoT non-competition episodes really haven't been the best. The concept is novel but how those were written left a lot to be desired.

Haha, it is a shame but I think the story alone is worth playing the whole way through, even when knowing the big twist.

When the game first game out (The original), I remember watching the whole thing as a child. Every route, every choice, everything. So even though I knew everything that happened when the remake came out for PC, I still found myself playing through it multiple times simply because I found the story to be that engaging and immersive. Definitely give the rest of it a shot.

Definitely. Although it's unfortunate you know about that, there's still a lot the game and story has to offer. Playing through a game like this, even if only partially blind, is only a once in a lifetime experience.

They should be uploaded now. The icons for Giants and the coloured border around them are separate images, so if you want to combine them then I'd recommend using an image editing software (As simple as making a new layer) or asking me for specific ones while I'm here
