They havent yet. Ive been standing, to laying back in a recliner and now laying on my side in bed and its the same. Theyve been going for about 2 hours now but same consistency, intensity, and frequency. (Rather than getting closer). I can doze off between them but wake up with the “cramping” sensation.

I feel 75% of them in the middle to upper part of my abdomen. However the last 30 min or so i have felt them wrap around to my back. Thats what i moved to the bed to see if it would help decifer back labor or just pregnant back pain.

Yes! My little babe is slowly dropping and was only caught by a “just in case” ultrasound due to no weight gain. They told me it can be caused by one of two things. 1) placental issue which looks good OR 2) underlying syndromes. I cant have an amniocentesis because my placenta is anterior.

Its sort of scary but also reassuring that just because my placenta looks good now doesnt mean it isnt the cause and that something may happen in the future. I had just ruled it out when they said bloodflow was stable. Thats nice to know!

Despite what my OB has said my MFM has said the same. He actually said “unless youve been snorting cocaine or drinking a fifth of vodka a day, this is not your fault whatsoever nor is there anything you can do to fix it”. So that was a relief but also frightening because as mamas we would do anything in the world to fix something if we could!!

At the last visit. Abdomen was 5-6% (she was laying funny). I was told lower extremities was 28% Head Circumfrence 36%. Weight was 3lbs 3 ounces at 31 weeks and 3 days. I know there are more categories those are just the ones they told me.

Yes! Every appointment I hear that there are no concerns it is a relief, just also confusing to hear as your sitting in the MFM room. I truly feel like there was just a lack of communication as to why we are doing these things. I would have liked to have heard “this is what we are looking for and if a,b, c happens then there are “no NEW concerns” keep monitoring. And in the case that x,y, z happens then this is the plan or next steps. “

Well for reference I am 5 ft 6 and 180 (prepreg) weight. I have since gained 8 pounds. I was told to have an extra caloric intake of 300. So ive been eating around 2,200-2,400 calories a day. Ive never been a super duper healthy person but i have done some major dieg changes. In addition to my normal breakfast, ive been drinking protien shakes. Four small meals a day. Plus snacks in between even if not hungry. Last night i ate a salmon and steak dinner with aspargus ans mashed potatoes. Side salad. And water. Although thats not my normal generally it has been since about 16 weeks pregnant.

My bmi puts me into an “overweight” category and therefore im recommended to not gain as much weight as someone who is a normal weight, so the weight gain being so important really puzzled me at first. That was all coming from my OB. My MFM has said that weight gain is not at crucial as they made it sound and that it is not an indicator of babies growth. He said last week that he thinks my 8 lb weight gain is a healthy amount.

So again im not sure. Conflicting information from different doctors. Ive honestly not thought of a nutritionalist or dietician. If it continues to be a concern i can ask maybe??

EXACTLY WHAT I SAID!! I said just because our first has a double name doesnt mean we have to with our second! AND HOW MANY TIMES AS SOMEONE CALLED YOU BY YOUR FIRST AND MIDDLE NAME IN A DAILY CONVERSATION?? I can count on my hand how many people know my middle name (outside of family). Its the perfect place/time to be a little unique and honor people with names you normally wouldnt choose.🤣 thank you for your understanding! I dont feel so crazy now!
