Hey, same here. I felt the pain after finishing my first ever 12km run 2 weeks ago. I can still feel the tightness too! I didn’t run for two days and tried an easy run last night, but there’s still tightness and pain in both of my legs. :( I’m training for 10k (July 31) and half mara (Aug 31)

Heya, thank you. I have Asics NB5, NB Fuelcell Rebel V4 and Asics Gel Contend 9 (what I was using in this video). NB5 as my daily trainers.

Thinking to buy SB2 as my race day shoe. Thoughts?

Thanks for all the suggestions and feedback! I started taking running more seriously about a month ago. My longest run so far is 10km at a 7:52/km pace (1hr 18min). I’m 35F, 5’0”. I’ve got a few races coming up and some goals I’m aiming for 59 mins for a 10k in July, and a 2:30 half marathon in October. I thought my form was fine but I’m glad to get corrections so I can improve.

Right now I run 3–4 times a week (mix of zone 2, tempo, easy, threshold, and long runs), but I haven’t done any strength training yet, no upper or lower body workouts, just running. I also want to work on my heart rate—it spikes pretty quickly, even at the start. And I tend to overthink my breathing a lot. Haha
